AHS PRODUCT CATALOGUE / PLAY AREA SAFETY SURFACING / SAND PRODUCT DETAILS Our AHS Play Sand is an inert, washed, non-staining, medium fine, moist, white sand that fully conforms to the British Standard BS EN:1177. It is ideally suited for use in children’s play areas, long jump pits and adventure trails. In addition, it may be used in golf bunkers and as a sports field dressing. FEATURES Fully Compliant to BSEN:1177 (Impact Attenuating Playground Surfacing Determination of Critical Fall Height) Non-toxic and non-staining—EN 71-3:1994 Part 3 Typical Moist Bulk Density: 1500kg/m3 APPLICATION RATE Install Play Sand at a depth of 150mm to achieve the required protection for 1.4m Critical Fall Height (CFH), or a depth of 300mm for 2.8m CFH.
